Turkey breast burgers for two

This meatloaf-style turkey burger mixture makes tasty burgers.

Serves 2

If the mixture is too wet, try adding up to 1/4 cup of panko.


Heat the grill or a skillet to medium heat. In a medium bowl, mix the turkey breast, onion, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper and egg. Form the mixture into 2 patties.

Spray the cooking surface with cooking spray and place the patties on top. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 160 F. Remove patties from heat and allow them to rest until reaching 165 F. Serve on whole-grain buns.


  • 1/2 pound ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 small whole-grain buns
