Complex regional pain syndrome

Complex regional pain syndrome is chronic arm or leg pain that develops after injury, surgery, stroke, or heart attack.
The pain is greater than would be expected from the injury.
Treatment usually consists of medications and therapy. Therapy can include heat or cold, physical therapy, nerve stimulation, and biofeedback.
