Quadriplegia
June 13, 2017
Quadriplegia is paralysis including the trunk, pelvic area, and both arms and legs. It results from a spinal cord injury.
The condition causes loss of movement, sensation, and bowel and bladder control.
Therapies, treatments, and assistive devices aim to allow a person with quadriplegia to lead a productive and independent life.
